This is series of imagined FaceBook feeds from people involved in tragic events, presented in the sunny optimism of social media. The intent is to make fun of the picture perfect lives people present through the prism of stories we know don’t end well.

FaceBook is like a diary, we use it to document our daily lives, but because we share it with the world, we filter the information to only show the good stuff. It’s a weird phenomena, that says a lot about us as a society.

Examples of stories I intend to tell – a passenger on the Titanic, a member of the Donner Party, Shakelton’s doomed Antarctic expedition, the worst expedition in history – Narváez in Florida etc.
